2nd Annual Ride - trip details

Departure; 11-11-2010
We will load up our dirt bikes, and head out to our departing location at Plaster City, CA.
We'll unload, gear up and have a rider meeting. Departing for day one early that AM. From
this point going forward, our driver will meet us along the route in key meeting points and
carry our safety gear, spare parts, overnight bags and other needed essentials. We will
ride 96% dirt trails and open desert to Parker Arizona. Stopping along the way to re-fuel
and/or meet the truck in Ocotillo Wells, Westmorland, Blythe, Vidal Junction and finally at
our location of Parker Arizona. A total day ride of about 300 long grueling miles.

Our final destination for day1, will be;
The BlueWater Resort and Casino

11-12-2010 (FREE DAY)
Is a "Free Day" of no riding, or a day for yourself of rest and relaxation.  Take the time
today, to do bike maintenance or sit around the pool. Either way, rest up for the ride home!

11-13-2010 (optional)
We'll add a local 70 mile loop to our ride plan and enjoy the area of Parker on our dirt
bikes. Riding some of the Parker 425 race course and enjoying the scenic hills and
enjoying lunch at
the desert bar in the nearby buckskin mountains. our day ends at the
bluewater once again, to enjoy the pool, hot tub, or a nice dinner.

Heading Home; 11-14-2010
We will have serviced our dirt bikes, and gear. Replenished our water and trailside snacks
and made sure all needed batteries are charged before departure. We'll head back via
different trails and open desert, but again meet the "chase truck/trailer" in the same towns
as our initial trip. This is mostly a reverse of day one, with a few new scenic trails possibly a
bit less technical due to riders being fatigued.

In totality, the ride will have covered 600 or more miles in two days
of riding Or 700 miles in 3 days if your adventurous.

All for a good cause!

Once we return, and have all the donations tallied, we will present the funds, and other mementos of
the ride to the S.U.C.C.E.S.S Group (via the Optimist International Foundation).

Post events will be posted here to the site, along with a total of funds donated.
