| About Ride for Life Ride for Life is a group of individuals dedicated to improving the treatment of cancer patients and to educating communities across the nation about cancer. The group was founded by Johnny Jensen and Alan Clowers whose lives have been touched by loved ones with cancer, or in Alan's case having cancer and being a survivor himself. (learn more about them in the 1st or 2nd Annual Cancer-Ride For Life event pages) This year, we are raising donations for; Rady Childrens Hospital of San Diego Mission Ride for Life has a three pronged mission aimed at advancing the prevention and treatment of cancer and inspiring others to get involved: Contribute to the development of better treatment options for cancer by raising funds for cancer research Educate communities across the nation about cancer detection and prevention to mitigate the threat posed by cancer Inspire dirt-bikers, off-roaders and community members to be proactive in supporting the search for a cure for cancer |
